How to delete an image

I have a habit of confirming the paste of an image and then later on deciding I don't like it but it's too late to delete/undo it so I always have to start my project from scratch. Is there away to delete an it when the undo button won't work anymore?

Hi,

yes, indeed, when the number of steps defined for the Undo function are completed,
there is no way to go back further.

The number of steps can be defined in menu Tools/Preferences : Thumbnail : Histories
Before you do an important operation, you can save your work in png format , so you are sure to be able to restore this step.
