Oh, I think I can wait for the new version...

By the way: It would be nice if there was some kind of update-help, either automatic or manually like >Help>Look for updates (like Firefox and Thunderbird).

Another thought: I appreciate Secunia PSI (Software Inspector) very much
(http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal/)
PhotoFiltre to be listed there?
I mean PhotoFiltre is such an outstanding tool...

It is just difficult to find out when the new Version is available if there is no assistance telling the user.

i have these scanner-problems too since i´m using windows 7 + photofiltre. hope the next version will fix it.

Thank you so much, I am very pleased and shall use the new version from now on!
But do not be surprised if you receive no feedback as far as scanning is concerned from my side at the moment as we are spending the winter on Tenerife and will only be back in Germany by mid April if things go well. Here on Tenerife I do use my notebook but my scanner is in Germany. I hope to remember to report in this forum after we are back.

Hi,

back home in Germany again. This is just to report that the scanning problem seems to be unsolved. At least in my case there is no change, scanning impossible. The same window appears (as reported before) pointing to some mistake somewhere.

I have a good quality scanner..., but I have a lot of scanning problems...

what problems ? your scanner has full twain compatibility ? did you installed twain drivers ?
