PFS Password Memory in Browser

Message par Jaume44 »

For a very long time my PFS password and screen name would not store in my IE browser. Earlier today I installed Google Chrome, and with it my password and screen name are remembered as it used to be in IE. This Chrome has gone back to basics with useful modern options, and, although I have only had it installed for an hour, I am sold on it. :D

Fine Jaume if that you please. :)

But i prefer cross a street only when i wish it.
And for example, FireFox ask the user if he wants to memory the account name and password of the site it requires. :)
Bien plus facile avec PhotoFiltre. Cordialement.

Thank you, Tom, you are very wise in your commentary. I omitted that Google Chrome has that option, please forgive my incomplete report. Actually, if you pursue it, the report is yet incomplete.

Greetings, I have a slight problem. I reported just how much I like the new Google Chrome browser, and I do. I used it to navigate to PFS Forum several times today and many yesterday, however late this afternoon it would not connect.

I mean, it would connect with my password and name, however as soon as I would go to a page, my connection went back to the splash page asking me to login.

Is the Chrome, or is this simply a temporary condition?

As I mentioned, it connected just fine until late this afternoon. Thank you.

The problem with logging in is possibly resolved.

The steps taken were:

1. I went to the PFS Forum splash page.

2. Instead of logging in automatically, I proceeded to a post.

3. I then clicked on the login option at the top left.

4. I clicked on login (my screen name and password already stored). It logged me in as usual.

5. I resaved the logged on page, and tried it again after having closed Chrome and reopening it.

This is an highly unorthodox manner to employ, however it seems to have done the job. This is the closest I have come to reconfiguring the page since it worked in the first place.

Thank you Tom, Antonio, and Heis Spiter for your kind attention.
